Description |
A weekend sailing program where children learn how to sail through practical sessions on the water. They learn and practise sailing skills, build confidence and develop their abilities through regular sailing. · 1 Pass – Try It: A great way to try the program for the first time or for a friend to join for one session. · 6 Passes – Learn & Practice: 18 hours of sailing, enough to meet the minimum hours required to complete a course, or to use as regular practice time for existing sailors. · 10 Passes – Learn & Practice: 30 hours of sailing, giving plenty of time to complete a course while also allowing for additional practice and skill development. |

What’s included |
· Sessions led by qualified RYA instructors. · Indoor classrooms available during very hot or cold weather when needed. · Access to a water dispenser for refilling water bottles. · Access to changing rooms and showers after the session. Parents/guardians are responsible for accompanying and assisting their child after they have been signed out. · Wetsuits provided during the cooler winter months. A spray top or extra warm layer may also be recommended. |

What to wear / bring |
· Rash vest with swim shorts or leggings. · Water shoes. · Hat and sunscreen. · Insulated water bottle. · Bring a towel and a full change of clothes, if you wish to change your child after the activity. · If wearing glasses or sunglasses, secure them with a strap. · You may pack a snack for your child to eat after the session while waiting for their parent/guardian to pick them up.
Arrival: Please arrive 5–10 minutes before the activity start time to allow time to get ready. |

Cancellation & refund policy |
· Cancellation more than 2 weeks before the course: Full refund or rescheduling available. · Cancellation 1–2 weeks before the course: Rescheduling only, within 2 months. For end-of-season sessions in May, rescheduling may be carried over to September. · Cancellation less than 1 week / No-show: No refund or rescheduling, regardless of the reason. · Withdrawal from the course: Remaining sessions are non-refundable, non-transferable and cannot be used towards another activity. · Late arrival: Children arriving more than 15 minutes late cannot join the session as they will have missed the safety briefing. Missed sessions are not eligible for a refund or rescheduling. · Cancellation by KSS due to weather: The session will be rescheduled. The instructor makes the final decision on whether conditions are safe. · Cancellation by KSS for operational reasons: The session will be rescheduled and a complimentary session credited. If KSS cancels 2 or more sessions, you may request a full refund if you choose not to continue. |
